Fractured Frames

Fractured Frames (2016) is a ten piece series examining business women in the city, exploring the gender wage gap in Australia and the seeming loss of identity of women in workforces dominated by men.

Captured in a surveillance observation style whilst simultaneously concealing most of the business woman’s figure and therefore identity. The red stiletto shoes within the images create a contradiction that challenges the social norms of today’s society to represent the power and control these women instil inside themselves to survive in a male dominated world.
